Walton H
Schwichtenberg III
Obituary
Walton H Schwichtenberg III passed from his life here on earth to his
eternal life in Heaven on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021. He will forever be
remembered for his giving heart... whether family, friend or stranger he
was there to lend a hand.
Waldon was born March 25, 1956 to Waldon H Schwichtenberg II and Edna
Cowling Schwichtenberg, in Louise Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Virginia. The
family moved to Tucson in January 1963. Throughout the years there were
a lot of trips "home" to Virginia. His roots were in Virginia, but he
most definitely loved Tucson, as well. He attended Blenman Elementary
from the middle of first grade, then Doolen Junior High and Catalina
High School; where many, many life-long friendships were made.
Waldron had many occupations over the years but his love was working on
cars. If you knew him... you probably had work done at some point in time.
He was involved with his niece's and nephew's activities... such as
Girl/Boy Scouts and school projects. Most recently his joy was to give
candy to staff and residents at Sapphire of Tucson (Avalon) and
Fresenius Kidney Care South Tucson.
Waldron loved his family and friends, being a mechanic, music, helping
others and... rolled tacos.
