Jeffrey Martin Green
Obituary
Jeffrey Martin Green age 57 of Tucson, passed away unexpectedly and
peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Jeff was born on November 5, 1956 in
Topeka, Kansas, to Dr. Joseph Green and Ruth (Fenner) Green. The family
moved to Tucson in 1961. Jeff attended Catalina High School, graduating in
1974. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a long-time entrepreneur
and small business man in Tucson, in machine tool manufacturing at Arizona
Gear/US Vibra and the plastics molding industry at Tucson Mold. Jeff is
survived by his wife, Tina; his children, Sarah and Jacob Green; his
sister, Karen (Alex) Hobson and his brother, Richard (Stephanie) of
Pittsburgh, PA. They, along with his sister- and brothers-in-law, nephews,
nieces and many friends from a lifetime in Tucson, will miss his humor,
his gentle concern for others, his pride in his children, and his love for
his family. Along with his work and his family, Jeff enjoyed exploring the
Tucson desert on foot or by four-wheel drive, fishing, croquet and
backgammon with friends, attending his children's sporting events, U of A
sports, and reading about the history of the Southwest. He was deeply
loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Celebration of
his life will be held at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. 3rd St.,
Tucson, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or
Make-A-Wish Foundation, Arizona. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge
